The mountainous country invested millions of dollars to update the rail network, with a path that connects Quito, the capital is increasingly becoming the country's allure, with the port city of Guayaquil, which is central in the mission of a massive overhaul of tourism. The train line also gives travelers access to be able to visit the bottom of the mountain Cotopaxi, one of the highest active volcano in the world, and the rugged region Nariz del Diablo (Devil's nose, the photo above), which is the steepest railroad in America.
