Ecuador
For decades, the tourist area in the South American country, located
nearly 1,000 kilometers from the western coastal region has become a
popular destination for tourists.
Galapagos Islands is staying as a location that is much luring nature
lovers, but mainland Ecuador is now attempting to become more than just a
tourist location.
The mountainous country invested millions of dollars to update the rail
network, with a path that connects Quito, the capital is increasingly
becoming the country's allure, with the port city of Guayaquil, which is
central in the mission of a massive overhaul of tourism.
The train line also gives travelers access to be able to visit the
bottom of the mountain Cotopaxi, one of the highest active volcano in
the world, and the rugged region Nariz del Diablo (Devil's nose, the
photo above), which is the steepest railroad in America.
